polkagrisar in Grenna

Today on my way home from Småland i made a stop in Grenna to visit some polkagris bakeries! The town of Grenna is so cute with lots of beautiful old wooden houses and cute old fashioned stores. There are lots of places where you can buy polkagrisar in Grenna, so i searched out the places i liked the most (see links below). There were so many different kinds of polkagrisar available for purchase!! Different shapes, flavours and colours. I saw some shaped as roses even! Amazing. In most stores you also get to watch as the polkagrisar are being made in the bakery!

Polkagris is an old traditional swedish type of candy which originates from the little town of Grenna by lake Vättern. Anyone unfamiliar with these wonderful swedish sweets should make a little pilgrimage to Grenna :)
